AJ Raymundo (b. 2002) is an emerging interdisciplinary artist and cultural worker born and based in Taguig City, Philippines. In his research-led practice, he complicates the entanglements of materiality and the interdependence of human and nonhuman nature in an act of noticing how we resurge amidst precarity. Grounded in his background in anthropology and political ecology, his inquiries translate into various formats spanning gatherings, installations, sculptures, videos, and photography.

He completed his BA in Interdisciplinary Studies, cum laude, at Ateneo de Manila University, and has received grants to conduct art and research projects in the Philippines, Indonesia, and Japan. He is the inaugural winner in conceptual art at the Ateneo College Awards in the Arts (2025), and has exhibited in various artist-run, alternative, and institutional spaces in Japan (Sado Island Galaxy Art Festival), Germany (Heizhaus), USA (RISD), and the Philippines (Areté, WHYNoT, 98B COLLABoratory).
